- Examine the intake manifold and intercooler for leaks or blockages
- Verify the condition of the glow plugs and their control system for cold start issues
- Scan the engine control unit (ECU) for fault codes related to sensors such as MAF (Mass Air Flow) or MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure)
Fixes:
- Clean or replace fuel injectors to restore proper spray pattern and fuel delivery
- Clean or replace the EGR valve to prevent recirculation issues and carbon buildup
