Symptoms:

- Test glow plugs and glow plug relay for starting issues in cold conditions
- Inspect cooling system for leaks, radiator blockages, or failing thermostat causing overheating
- Look for worn timing chain or tensioner leading to timing issues and rough running
Fixes:
- Clean or replace fuel injectors; overhaul or replace injection pump if necessary
